About Stork Genetics
Genetic counseling plays a crucial role in demystifying the complexities of genetics and ensuring that individuals feel empowered, supported, and well-informed throughout their genetic health journey.

By focusing on these three tenets, we prioritize the well-being of patients and their families. Making genetics more approachable and less intimidating can significantly impact how a person views and engage with their genetic health.

We also believe that collaboration is essential. Working together with patients, healthcare professionals, and businesses creates a network of support and expertise that can enhance patient care and access to resources. Collaboration among various stakeholders fosters a holistic approach to genetic health, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive care and support at every step.
About Me
I love genetics. Since I first discovered the field of genetic counseling over 20 years ago, there is nothing else I have wanted to do.
But I also know it can be confusing and overwhelming and downright scary at times. Believe me, I know. It's how I feel about algebra.
So I'm here to help you understand it.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and my Master degree from Arcadia University. I believe having degrees in psychology, biology, and genetic counseling equips me with a comprehensive understanding of both the scientific and human aspects of genetic health.

When I'm not talking about genetics, and I will talk about it in some capacity to anyone willing to listen, I spend my time at the gym or my karate dojo, being "that mom" to my two daughters, and trying hard not to bring any more cats into my home.
